Some exciting news for a local author. Ottawa High School graduate and author Chelan David, who wrote the book “Stories From the Phog” a book about KU basketball and Allen Fieldhouse, has been honored. His book has been named the runner up Sports Book of the Year by the American Writing Awards. David talked about the book and some of the people he was able to interview while writing it:
