The snow storm earlier in the week wasn’t big by any means, but it was enough to give the new Franklin County Public Works trucks a nice test. Public Works Director, Jeff Welton, gave an update to county commissioners:
He added that the county has plenty of material to put down on roads. All that was ordered back in late August and early September. He says that as time goes on, drivers will get more and more accustomed to the new features of the trucks and find operation to be much smoother during snow events.
