The City of Ottawa is looking for a few good people. People that would like to move to Ottawa, and, the Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce has a program that provides incentives for those folks who are looking to make a move, a $150,000 grant from the state that includes a $6,000 cash bonus! It’s called Make My Move. Chamber Director Ryland Miller:
There are plenty more incentives, including a partnership with a moving company, a portion of cost being covered by a real estate company, and the program connects you with employers. Miller says there have been over 70 household apply from 20 states. He is talking with several about moving to Ottawa.
