Not something you are ready to think about on a week in late December when temperatures are in the 70’s, and, not to burst your bubble, but, cold temperatures and snow are bound to set in sometime this winter, right? Rest assure that when they do, the City of Ottawa is ready. Ottawa Public Works Director DJ Welsh goes over the equipment on hand to remove snow:
He says they also have a smaller UTV with a plow on the front that can be used for removal of snow from sidewalks. So, after our brief tropical warm up the next couple days… when the first real snow hits, City of Ottawa crews are ready to clear the streets and get you safely to your destination.
