Freedom Festival in Osawatomie will take a musical twist Sunday, September 17th. Three groups will be sharing their music. First…Magpie…will perform “Sword of the Spirit: The Life and Letters of John Brown, Abolitionist:
Two performances, Saturday at 1:00 and then Sunday, also at 1:00. Following will be Shortleaf, playing their mix of Celtic and old time tradition, with haunting ballads, rip roaring fiddle tunes and a dose of southern rock:
