It’s that time of the year again. It’s almost time for Santa’s Toy Shop in Garnett. The event will be held at Shade ‘N Shine in Garnett on Monday December 16th, from 4:00 to 8:00. Parents are encouraged to bring the kids for hot cocoa, cookies, santa and so much more. They say that santa can’t wait to see all the kids and, guess what? He’ll be giving a gift to every little boy and girl in attendance!
Santa’s toy shop has been a growing event over the last few years. They collect toys, separate by age category, wrap every present, and santa hands out one present per child in his toy shop. All gifts remaining are dispersed throughout the community to families in need of some extra holiday love!
If you would like to donate a gift for the event, donations can be dropped off at Shade ‘N Shine in Garnett, or at Everything Else Discount Store . All toys should be new or very gently used and cleaned and ready for wrapping. If you have a child you would like to register, please call 785-204-2730 for information.
