The Franklin County Commission will meet this morning and several items are on the agenda. First a proclamation declaring this week as First Responder Wellness Week. Also, they will consider approval of the replacement of the east door on the transfer building that was damaged earlier in the year. Next, they will consider approving the bid for the county chemicals and review the proposals from the TGT sponsorship program for funding.
Also on the agenda are approvals of IT and technology partnerships and finalizing a one year lease of two new 2025 John Deer tractors.
Finally, commissioners will discuss the hiring of Killough construction for the 2025 hot mix asphalt patching. The meeting will be held at 8:30 this morning at the Franklin County Annex and be live streamed on the Franklin County Ks youtube channel.
