Franklin County Public Works is getting ready for some major road repairs. Starting today, March 31st, they will begin asphalt repairs throughout the county. As part of these improvements, starting Monday, April 7th, Oregon Road will be closed from Ellis to Finney Road to allow for the road to be worked on. The closure of this section of road is expected to last about a week, but the timeline may vary due to weather of other conditions. Public Works Officials say while no other roads will be fully closed at this time, crews will be working on asphalt repair throughout the county.

They ask that motorists driving in those areas to be extra cautious as workers, contractors and road equipment will be in these areas. All the work in Franklin County is weather dependent, and schedules may change due to conditions. They appreciate your patience and caution as they work to make the roads you travel on as safe and smooth as possible.
