This winter was very hard on the roads, both in the county and in the city of Ottawa. As a result, there are potholes on nearly every street, particularly at intersections. Think the city isn’t doing anything about them? Think again. City Manager Brian Silcott gave an update on pothole patching to city commissioners:

He added that crews will continue to patch the streets and make them as smooth as possible. If you have a pesky pothole you think needs attention, or any other problem with the streets or signs, please call the City of Ottawa Streets Division at 785-229-3656, or Franklin County Public Works at 785-229-3550.
