The AdventHealth Ottawa volunteers for the 2025-2026 school year has awarded three scholarships totaling $3,000. This brings the totals to 361 scholarships awarded for a grand total of $218,150. The hospital volunteer group began giving scholarships in 1973.

Haley Reed who is attending Herzing University majoring as a Family Nurse Practitioner …Caitlan Chasteen, attending Missouri State University working toward a Post Professional Doctorate in Occupational Therapy, and Dariann Vitner, who’s attending Neosho County Community College majoring in Nursing.
To qualify, applicants must be a Franklin County resident or an employee of AdventHealth Ottawa…be enrolled or accepted in a health related program by an accredited institution and have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Congratulations to all three.
