The history of Ottawa is fascinating and some of the stories and events are even more dramatic. One of those stories involves the Zellner building, which one stood at 2nd at Main, where Hailey Park is today. It was a glorious building when it was built and even had an opera house on the third floor. A structural failure in 1980 led to it collapsing into the street.
