Yesterday, April 23rd, the Franklin County Development Council hosted a group of 20 soldiers from Fort riley and gave them a tour of Ottawa and showed them what the city has to offer. All the soldiers will be out of the military soon and will be looking for jobs. Development Council Director Paul Bean on some of the activities yesterday:
Bean adds that they are also wanting to bring in the families of the soldiers so they can also see what the city has to offer as far as schools and other amenities.
