Now that Proximity Park has been sold to Lightfield Energy, some people are remembering a tax that was implemented in 2016, approved by voters, for 10 years, to help pay for the Proximity project. Some have raised the questions about the tax, when it will end, and what all did it help pay for. City Attorney Blaine finch addresses the issue:
