The Franklin County EMS handles a variety of calls every day and according to EMS Director, Christie Hilliker, the ambulance service handled a record number of calls in 2024. She was giving a report on the 4th quarter of last year when she revealed the numbers and an interesting point on finances:
The Franklin County fleet of ambulances also responded to a many more mutual aid calls from surrounding counties, particularly Miami County near the Wellsville area.
