Another candidate has thrown his hat into the ring for Kansas Governor. Political outsider, Republican Doug Billings, announced his candidacy. Billings has chosen April McCoy, of Leavenworth County, as his running mate for Lieutenant Governor. He describes himself as “the next Rush Limbaugh” and is the host of the “Right Side”. He says Kansas deserves a governor who answers only to the people — not the lobbyist-filled swamp. He says “As a proud MAGA conservative, I’ll channel President Trump’s tenacity to cut waste, protect life, defend liberty and unleash a new era of individual prosperity for our state.”
Billings, a former vice-President of Human Resources and Labor Relations, has extensive experience negotiating complex multi-billion dollar contracts. He will bring real world business expertise to the table. As you might expect, his platform aligns directly with President Trump’s. He says he will fight for Kansas families, small business owners, farmers, ranchers and workers with an uncompromising conservative vision.
