The City of Ottawa has announced that the splash pad is now open for the season and,,, it’s calling your name. Public Works Director, J. J. Welsh, says the issues are fixed.
The splash pad in City Park was one of the most used features in Ottawa last summer. One member of the Planning Commission called it the best thing he has seen added to Ottawa in over 50 years. It brought families together to use the other amenities at City Park. Time to kick off your shoes, grab your flip-flops and dive into some serious splashy fun. Whether you’re a little kid, or a kid at heart, it’s the coolest way to beat the heat. Hours are from 9:00 to 9:00 seven days a week.
