Country music icon Martina McBride, a proud Kansas native from Sharon, a small town in Barber County, testified before the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Privacy, Technology, and the Law yesterday to advocate for the federal Voice and Likeness Protection Bill known as the “No Fakes Act”. There is a growing push to protect all americans unique attributes from deceptive AI manipulation. McBride says the No Fakes Act represents an important step in protecting her career and family while also ensuring honest representation to her fans.
McBride joins over 400 prominent artists, actors and performers standing up against AI generated fraud and deep fakes.
