The Ottawa City Commission is advancing with the 2025 Street Rehabilitation Project. Bids were received and accepted from a variety of companies in regards to chip and seal projects as well as mill and overlay projects. Public Works Director DJ Welsh specifies what streets will be repaired:
Vance Brothers was awarded the chip and seal contract for just over $121,000, and Killough Construction for the mill an overlay projects at $112,650. This is phase one of a five year plan to rehabilitate the streets in Ottawa.
