The upcoming roadwork in Ottawa to tell you about. Starting Tuesday, May 26th, the City of Ottawa says it will begin concrete work on the street and curb line in the 1400 block of Willow Street. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in the work area for a few days while the work is completed. It’s very important to be extra cautious and aware as you are turning off the 15th Street and onto Willow, as that first block will be affected by the construction. Also, as you approach from the north on Willow, be aware that the road will be reduced to one lane as you travel towards 15th Street.
The City of Ottawa asks for patience as the work is being completed and be cautious of work crews and equipment that will be in the work zone. Slow down, avoid distractions, follow all signage and drive safely through the work zone. Weather permitting, the project should be completed by Thursday, May 29th.
