Changes are coming to the look of a building in Downtown Garnett. The building is undergoing a major transformation, thanks in part to a $100,000 grant from the Kansas Historic Economic Asset Lifeline , or HEAL program. The space will soon be home to Gains & Glory Pro Fitness, a full-service personal gym offering 24/7 access, personal training, fitness classes, strength equipment, free weights, locker rooms with showers, and a relaxing sauna. They would also like to install a garage door in the front of the building. Garnett planning and zoning administrator darren wilson explained the reasoning

Commissioners approved the request unanimously. Construction on the building continues. Gains and Glory is owned by Deborah Wilson, who opened a similar facility in Lyndon in 2023.
