Some road work to tell you about. City of Ottawa officials says that beginning today, June 11th, Killough Construction will begin the 2025 street rehab project of mill and overlay on 7th Street from Cedar to Cherry streets. This project is starting a bit early due to another Killough project falling through on their end, giving them time to do the Ottawa project. Ottawa Public Works Director DJ Welsh says that there will be no lane closures during the mill and overlay project, however, traffic will be down to one lane throughout the project. Welsh says that weather permitting, the entire project is set to be complete on Friday.
