The deadline to file to run for office in the upcoming election passed several weeks ago. Several races around the area have several candidates vying for positions. Franklin County Clerk, Janet Paddock, goes over the race for Ottawa City Commission:
She adds that the deadline to register to vote in the primary election in the August primary is July 15th. The deadline to register for the November general election is October 14th. Don’t procrastinate, register to vote so you can make your voice be heard on election day.
