The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office has issued a plea to the public to slow down on the roads as you travel. Sheriff Jeff Richards says that his deputies and the highway patrol have written several tickets recently to people going well over 100 miles per hour, and that just isn’t safe:
When you are out and about…put your phone down, buckle up, and slow down, take you time to enjoy the scenery. Be aware of your surroundings and arrive…alive.
