Harvest has started in some areas of Kansas and as the harvest progresses, it becomes very important to be aware of farm vehicles on the roadways. Captain Candace Breshear with the Kansas Highway Patrol with some tips for drivers:
The harvest is beginning in our area. However, some are still waiting to get into the fields after recent heavy rains. After tonight, June 17th, the forecast calls for hot and dry conditions for several days.
