An Ottawa two year old helped take some of the pictures at the Osawatomie Lights on the Lake event recently. Two-year-old Noak Casares was hanging out in a field his grandfather M.L. Rogers used to own. He was at the event with his mom Cheyanne Casares, his sister, and two grandmothers. Noah walked up to the tripod that photographer Gene Morris was setting up, climbed on his lap, and asked if he could help. Morris showed him how to push the button and when the fireworks started, Noah began clicking away. As the screen lit up with the photos, his family was amazing at some of the shots. After shooting 40 shots, he got what Morris called 15 spectacular fireworks pictures from lights on the lake. Two of those photos were even published in the Miami County Republic this past week, with Noah’s name in the credits. Nice work Noah!
