The Fill The Bus Campaign kicked off this weekend at Walmart. The annual event, put on by the Franklin County United Way, collects school supplies to give to those families who may not be able to buy the proper supplies themselves. United Way Board Member, Leigh Hanson with more on giving:
The bins are at both doors at Walmart. Hanson says they are looking for some volunteers to man the bins during early evening hours during the week some hours during the weekend. If you would like to help, check out the Franklin County United Way face book page to get signed up. Like Leigh says, when you are at Walmart, grab a couple extra things and toss them in the bins.
