The Franklin County United Way supports a lot of very good programs in the community, many of which involve schools and kids. One organization they help out is called Spark Wheel. You may have known it as Communities In Schools. Franklin County United Way board member, Leigh Hanson, on what Spark Wheel does:
The Franklin County United Way “Fill the Bus Campaign” at Walmart runs through this week. When you’re out there, if you are able, buy a couple extra school supply items, snacks or hygiene items and drop them in the bin on your way out.
