Unity Fest is returning this year for the Fourth Annual Back To School Unity Festival. The Franklin County United Way, and dozens of area sponsors, are putting on the event at City Park this morning, August 2nd. Franklin County United Way Board member Leigh Hanson:
As Hanson said, free food, giveaways, games, face painting, bounce houses and much more. Unity Fest will be held this morning from 10:00 till noon at City Park. Fun for the entire family!
A separate event will be held at the Ottawa Teen Park this afternoon from 3:00 to 7:00. It’s called “Back 2 School Takeover.” There will be 100 free backpacks, shirts, barbeque and all kinds of games and activities. Two great opportunities for families today.
