Believe it or not, the new school year is just a week away and in the USD 290, new teachers have been in orientation meetings this week. Superintendent Dr. Ryan Cobbs says the district has been able to find teachers for some hard to fill positions:
All teachers are in the buildings today. Cobbs says for the first time in a long time, all positions are filled. The first day for all elementary students, plus 6th grade, 9th grade and new students will be Tuesday, August 12th, which will be a half day. The first full day for all students will be one week from today, August 13th.
