Three men have announced they are running a write in campaign for the USD 365 School Board. Kevin Calley of Richmond will seek position #4 formerly held by Michael Richards, who did not seek re-election. He says he understands the hurdles we must overcome to better our local school district and improve educational achievement for all students. Adding, parents desire a good environment for their children to learn and grow in.
Steven Bundy will seek election to position #5, formerly held by longtime board member Sonya Martin, who also did not file to run for another term. He he wants to place children and their academic achievements first.
Chris Brady will vie for position #6, presently held by Gina Witherspoon. Brady says his educational priorities were academic excellence, transparency regarding curriculum, district finances and community engagement and involvement. The election is set for November 4th.
