You might notice teachers in USD 290 looking a bit more professional. The USD 290 Board of Education had a long debate over the staff dress code at Monday’s meeting, August 11th. Leadership teams at each school got together and came up with a policy to present to the board. The goal is for all staff to look professional on the job. Doctor Ryan Cobbs read the proposed policy:
There was talk about jeans and how professional they are, particularly if they had holes in them. In the end, the board voted to approve the policy with the expectation that building administrators pull aside those they feel may not look profession and discuss improvements.
