At their meeting this morning, the Ottawa City Commission heard a presentation on the wording of a renewal of a sales tax that is expiring soon. Commissioners had to decide between a general purpose tax or specific. The tax question will be on the ballot in November. The specific wording of the tax question will be presented at next week’s meeting, along with potential projects the funds from the tax would pay for.
