The Franklin County Sheriff’s office is proud to announce that they are fully staffed. That’s something that was hard to do just a few years ago. Sheriff Jeff Richards says statewide, applicants for law enforcement have gone up dramatically:
Richards says that in 2020, law enforcement faced scrutiny for many things they were doing nationwide and the risks that they face on a daily basis were not well accepted; however, there has been a resurgence of applications since.
