A program to help those that are incarcerated get jobs once they are released, received praise at the Ottawa City Commission meeting. The project was launched by Franklin County Sheriff Sergeant Tanner Henrickson last December. Commissioner Clayton gave a plug to the new program:
He adds that this is a pool of employees that really want to work. The program is facing some challenges. FCDC Director Paul Bean, says he is working with the sheriff’s department to overcome some technology issues they are encountering, getting the program off the ground.
