The baby business is back in Ottawa. A huge announcement by AdventHealth Ottawa at the Franklin County Commission meeting this morning. After three years, the labor and delivery services at the local hospital are returning. AdventHealth CEO, Brendan Johnson with the announcement:
The local hospital has been without such services since Ottawa Family Physicians transitioned out of birthing services, citing the inability to continue providing 24/7 coverage to maintain the program in July of 2023. The program paused November 9th of that year.
