One of those “can’t miss” events in Ottawa is this weekend. The 29th Annual Power of the Past Antique Engine and Tractor Show will be in Forest Park today, September 12th through Sunday, September 14th. This year, the show features Oliver tractors and Fairbanks Morse engines, but there will be all kinds of tractors and engines on display, the event is expected to draw thousands of people from across the region to Ottawa.
There will be a huge variety of tractors on hand. As well as a craft show and flea market and other exhibitions. Organizers says the show is more than just a gathering of tractor enthusiasts. It’s about showing the older generation of farm equipment of their youth and the younger generation how things were done before computer technology.
