The Power of the Past Antique Tractor and Engine Show will be in Forest Part today September 12 through Sunday, September 14. One thing you can count on is a safe show. Ottawa Police Chief Adam Weingartner, he says with up to 5 thousand people in the park each day, it takes some planning to make sure everyone is safe. He says the city and the county work together on the plan all year round.
There will also be periodic drone flyovers to monitor activity in the park. Weingartner added that Ottawa’s park space is always safe and that very few crimes are ever committed in the parks or on the trails.
