A dog in the road sent a motorcycle rider to the hospital Wednesday, September 17th. Just after 2:20 Wednesday afternoon, 31-year-old Zachary Taylor was riding his Honda motorcycle in the 2400 block of Montana Road, when a dog entered the roadway in front of him. In his attempt to avoid the dog, they collided, which caused Taylor to wreck his cycle.
Franklin county EMS transported him to AdventHealth Ottawa for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash. No word on the extent of injuries, and no word on the condition of the dog that was involved in the incident.
