Thieves were busy in Ottawa over the weekend. The Ottawa Police Department is looking for information about a group of four juveniles who roamed neighborhoods from Ash to Maple Street, opening unlocked car doors and helping themselves to things in those vehicles, including a 9 millimeter handgun and stealing a 1970 honda motorcycle. Later summer and early autumn can be a time when crime increases and you can do your part in not becoming a victim of Ottawa’s most prevalent crime, property crimes. First, lock the doors to your car. Second, don’t leave your keys in the car, and third, report any suspicious activity immediately.
