With the budget season and all the revenue neutral hearings behind them, county boards can now go about the process of executing the proposed budgets. Many people wonder why certain things are being funded. It seems like they could cut this or cut that to save money, but…Franklin County Commissioner Ian Dickinson says people don’t realize how many things counties are required to have under state law.
Other commissioners expressed they didn’t really know what all was required to go into the budget until they were elected to the board.
