Kansas University basketball has a long and storied history. The inventor of basketball was their first coach and they play in Allen Field House, named after legendary Coach Phog Allen. A new book is coming out soon, written by an Ottawa High School graduate. In, “Stories From the Phog: Forty Years of College Basketball”, Chelan David interviewed every living KU coach and relatives of those from the past.
In part two of the discussion, listen to David talk about those interviews and hear some interesting stories from the new book, on this week’s Community Perspective. Tune in tomorrow morning, October 12th, right after the 8:00 o’clock news to hear it all.
