Franklin County Economic Development Committee Director, Paul Bean, gave an update to City Commissioners regarding a couple of grants. The first is a Safe Pathways Grant that they have already been approved for. Bean says they have applied for another grant:
Taking care of the county’s bridges has been a main focus for the Franklin County Public Works Department this past year. Public Works Director, Jeff Welton, says they have several grant opportunities submitted and they plan on repairing or replacing over a dozen bridges this year.
