The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office was involved in a vehicle chase early Monday morning, October 6th. We don’t know when or where the chase actually began, but we do know how it ended and the good guys prevailed once again. Just before 1:00 that morning, the chase ended in the 400 block of John Brown Road with the arrest of 26-year-old Zoie Gilliland, of Louisburg. She was logged in the Franklin County Jail on charges of fleeing and eluding, possession of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, transporting an open container of alcohol, felony interference with law enforcement and an expired registration, after she fled from a routine traffic stop.
