The Prairie View USD 362 Board of Education, in a special meeting Monday, October 13th, voted unanimously to terminate all contracts with Buffalo head football coach and weight room instructor, Jason Spradling immediately.

Spradling was suspended from his duties last week. Prairie View Superintendent, Chris Johnson, would not disclose the reason for Spradling’s suspension, saying she couldn’t comment on personnel matters.

Spradling, a former offensive coordinator, was hired at the end of the 2024-2025 school year, when former head coach, Kyle Littrell, announced plans to retire. He had led the Buffalos to a 5-1 start on the season. The team avenged a loss in last year’s playoffs against Wellsville, with a hard-fought win and its only loss came at the hands of Santa Fe Trail. Assistant coach, Joe Cullor, took over as interim head coach.
