Yesterday, October 12th, was National Farmers Day. Did you know that nearly 20 million jobs in the U. S. are full and part time related to the AG business? Did you know that over 97% of farms in America are family farms. Family owned and operated? That means that only two percent of the people feed and sustain the rest of us. Think about this:
A big thank you to all the farmers, ranchers and producers who believe in the “amber waves of grain”, put in the hard work and labor, get on their knees and pray for rain, those that get tougher as their lives keep getting harder, all to feed us. I think it’s time for all of us… to thank a farmer!
