The City of Ottawa has moved forward in their search for a new City Manager. Brian silcott announced his resignation a few weeks ago. City Attorney Blaine Finch recommended the city contact Strategic Government Resources, (SGR), to assist in the search for a new manager.
Commissioners approved the contract with SGR for just over $29,000; however, Finch says they will negotiate that amount as SGR handled the last search for a city manager in Ottawa three years ago.
