Kansas 3rd Congressional District Representative, Sharice Davids, says everyday, she hears from her constituents about how the government shutdown is affecting their lives and the lives of people they know. She says an Olathe 6th grade student named Brenin wrote her and expressed his concerns and has a solution that makes common sense:
Davids says she is willing and able to work with Republicans, Democrats or whoever to get the government back open. She says the key is to show up at the table and start working.
