USD 290 school busses may be getting an upgrade to their cameras and GPS systems. Transportation Director, Randy Winkler told the 290 School Board members about what the new system will do:
The current system has none of these features. Winkler says the old system is antiquated and needs to be replaced. The board agreed to the change to the camera system. The upgrades will cost about $19,000 a year. A cost well worth it to keep the students and drivers safe on all their routes.
