The Ottawa City Commission will meet tomorrow, November 19th, and one of the items on the agenda is a recognition of city employees that have milestone years in their employment service to the city. The city will recognize 18 employees with a combined 390 years total years of service to Kansas communities. We’d like to informally recognize them. Celebrating 10 years are Rudy Holden, Jared Russell, Breanna Snyder and Lydia Sierra. Fifteen year employees include Eric Heiserman, Ryan Murphy and Brian Hall. Twenty Years…Brian Demoret. Twenty five years… Kirt Chapman, Casey Crane and Dave Hunsaker. Thirty years include Deb Broaders, Chad Bentley, Chris Campbell, Chuck Johnson and Adam Weingartner. Thirty five years of service are Steve Morton. Congratulations to all!
Other items on the agenda include a pavement preservation plan update by Public Works Director, DJ Welsh, and Finance Director Melanie Landis, community partner reports and a golf course update, as well as a review of the transient guest tax distribution.
