Does the City of Ottawa need a kiosk outside City Hall for people to pay their bills? That question was pondered by Ottawa City Commissioners this week. The current kiosk has not been in service since June of 2024 and replacement options were discussed by Assistant Director of Finance, Rebekah McCurdy:

It was noted that since the kiosk has been out of order, there have been no complaints about not having it and when it was in service, there were only about five payments a day. Commissioners tabled any decision on a replacement until after the first of the year so other options could be considered.
